Duties:

Dispatch & Operations:

• Receive, prioritize, and assign delivery orders to drivers in real time.
• Monitor driver availability, traffic conditions, and delivery progress to ensure on-time performance.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, and internal customers to resolve delivery issues and keep our customers happy!
• Track and document delivery performance metrics and customer feedback.

Department Administrative Support:

• Assist with department personnel files, including employment documents, licenses, certifications, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and confidentiality standards.
• Assist Manager in tracking driver attendance, scheduling, and employment status.
• Support the onboarding process by collecting required documents and coordinating driver orientation to ensure a smooth and enjoyable process!
• Maintain accurate records related to training and safety certifications, and policy acknowledgments.
• Support Transportation Manager with any special projects or assignments.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Previous Transportation or Administrative experience is preferred.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow.
• Attention to detail, excellent customer service and front of the line support.
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks.
