ABOUT THE ROLE

Our studio in the West Palm Beach area is looking for an experienced Laser Technician to provide our guests with expert, branded, and safe hair removal services, focusing on building client relationships and promoting confidence. You will also learn our sugar wax technique and perform sugar waxing services. In addition to performing these services, you will also educate clients on skin care, drive retail product sales, and meet strict sanitation and safety standards. Our estheticians are not just service providers; they are the heart of our brand. We train every esthetician to perform at the highest level: ensuring exceptional quality, client retention, and strong earnings potential. To qualify, you must have a certificate from an accredited vocational program; certification from the National Council on Laser Certification is preferred. While technical qualifications are the most important, you must also be reliable and possess strong communication, sales, and customer service skills. You must make clients feel comfortable, safe, and satisfied with their service results. We may offer some flexibility on the work hours listed below, however, we currently offer positions for AM Only, PM Only, or Weekends Only.

Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Perform Laser Hair Removal Services: Provide high-quality, safe hair removal services for the face and body, including bikini/Brazilian lines, legs, arms, and back.
• Learn our Sugar Wax Technique & Perform Waxing Services: Provide high-quality sugar waxing services for the face and body, including bikini/Brazilian lines, legs, arms, and back.
• Client Education: Advise clients on pre- and post- service care to maximize results and ensure skin health.
• Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean, hygienic, and organized work station, following all health and safety regulations.
• Retail & Sales: Promote and sell skincare products while meeting retail sales goals and cross-selling relevant add-on services.
• Client Retention: Build professional relationships to encourage repeat visits and pre-booking appointments.
• Customer Service: Greet guests professionally and create a comfortable, welcoming experience.
• Inventory Support: Monitor laser professional supplies daily; proactively notify the Front Desk when items run low to prevent service disruptions.

Qualifications (required):

• License: Active, Florida (state-mandated) Esthetician or Cosmetology license.
• Vocational School Certification: Laser Hair Removal (required); NCLC Certification (preferred).
• Work Experience: Previous experience providing laser and cosmetology services in a fast-paced studio setting.
• Learn Sugar Wax Technique: Willingness to learn our sugar waxing technique and successfully perform sugar waxing services.
• Skill Set: Knowledge of various laser hair removal techniques, understanding of skincare fundamentals, reliability, attention to detail, a professional demeanor, exceptional patient care and customer service skills.
• NOTE: Must be comfortable performing full-body services including Brazilian Services (most clients we serve tend to be female; we also serve male clients)

• Physical Demands: Long periods of standing, frequent walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Work Hours

• Monday: 11:00 am to 5:00 pm,
• Tuesday: OFF,
• Wednesday: 2:00 pm to 4:00pm,
• Thursday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm,
• Friday: 10 am to 6:00 pm, and
• Rotating Weekends (1 shift every weekend is required); this means your second day off will be Saturday or Sunday.
• Saturday: 9 am to 7:00 pm, OR
• Sunday: 10 am to 7:00 pm
