What are the responsibilities and job description for the Photographer & Retoucher position at Sugarfina USA LLC?
Sugarfina is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Photographer & Retoucher to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about product photography and post-production, with experience in a high-volume ecommerce & campaign studio. This position will focus heavily on Ecommerce shooting and photo retouching and will play a key role in supporting the creative team in product launches and marketing campaigns.
This role reports to our Los Angeles office near Howard Hughes Center.
Responsibilities:
- Shoot and retouch all ecommerce photography for upcoming product launches, ensuring alignment with Sugarfina brand guidelines.
- Assist in the retouching of lifestyle campaign imagery for digital and print use.
- Maintain file organization and asset management for photography deliverables.
- Support the Manager of Photography as needed during lifestyle campaign photoshoots, including setup and behind-the-scenes assistance.
- Follow production schedules and deadlines and take direction from the Manager of Photography and Studio Operations.
Qualifications:
- B.A. or B.F.A. in photography or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of experience in photography, photo editing, & studio production
- High proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom
- Proficiency in Adobe After Effects is a plus
- Proficiency with studio lighting equipment and Canon camera systems
- Familiarity with Asana or similar project management software
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand standards
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, take direction and work both independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable commuting to Westchester, CA 4 days a week
