Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and consistency
- Operate POS systems such as Clover POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service and product recommendations
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stand area, including food preparation stations
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist in food preparation and serving as needed, ensuring quality standards are met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly
- Uphold health regulations related to food industry standards and safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous Barista experience or background in food service or coffee industry is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
- Good time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and food preparation standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or holidays if required
