Avenue Espresso is an independent locally-owned drive-thru coffee chain based in the heart of Southwest Washington.
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at our Grand Mound location. In this role, your key responsibilities will be creating a warm and welcoming environment for customers, accurately taking orders and processing payments, preparing various hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees and teas, and serving food items, such as burritos, sandwiches, and baked goods while adhering to health and safety guidelines to ensure a high-quality experience for all customers.
Qualifications:- 1-2 Years of barista or retail food and beverage customer service experience preferred
- Working knowledge of coffee brewing and tea preparation equipment preferred
- Valid Washington State Food Handler’s Card
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service
- Self-motivated and trustworthy; capable of working independently
- Collaborative team player, eager to assist colleagues
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, with a consistent record of punctual attendance
- Maintain a well-groomed and polished appearance

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to reach and bend while performing job duties
- Capability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance – use the team lift technique or a hand truck for heavier weights
