Core Responsibilities:
• Approach all encounters with guests and employers in a friendly, service- oriented manner.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with OTB standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the Security Department.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which can include wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working.
• Always comply with OTB standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient security operations.
• Answer telephone and return telephone calls.
• Attend meetings and take minutes to type and distribute minutes from meetings.
• Prioritize administrative and project management tasks, including calendar management, travel and meeting arrangements, expense report completion, and meeting materials and logistics coordination.
• Work independently and within a team on special and nonrecurring and ongoing projects.
• Demonstrate professionalism and confidence when interacting with all levels of management.
• Maintain strict confidential guidelines.
• Demonstrate independent judgment and strong problem-solving skills as they apply to situations in the job.
• Review, sort, and prioritize all mail, telephone calls, couriers, faxes and office communication to the security offices.
• Assist with internal/external correspondence including drafting letters, e-mails, memos and associate flyers.
• Light cleaning in the respective work area.
• Other duties as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in a related field preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• 1 years’ administrative experience preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills
• Weekends, Holidays, and swing shift work may be required.
• Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/ or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to convey information and ideas
• Must evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.

• Process and follow up on all V.I.P reservations and accommodations.
• Regulate executive floor access by following SOP for access to that floor. This includes utilizing the proper badging and check-in procedures.
