What are the responsibilities and job description for the EVS Attendant- Full Time position at Suffolk Regional OTB / Jake's 58 Casino Hotel?
Core Responsibilities:
•Responsible for the cleaning of the entire Facility, correcting situations of possible accident and injury to associates and patrons.
•Responsible for the daily pickup of garbage in the facility, grounds, and restrooms.
•Maintain daily documentation of cleaning and replenishing of paper products and soaps of all restrooms.
•Maintain organized and clean workspace.
•Replenish all cleaning and product supplies.
•Clean and service equipment.
•Clean and maintain all public areas.
•Clean casino machines and chairs.
•Responsible in reporting all maintenance issues to the maintenance manager.
•Adheres to all company’s policies and procedures.
•Good customer service and verbal skills.
•Keep all fire exits clear.
•Must Role Model Company guest service program.
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
•High school diploma or equivalency degree preferred.
•Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.
Other:
•Able to lift and carry up to thirty pounds frequently
•Requires frequent lifting, bending, pushing and pulling.
•Use of ladder and step stool.
•Standing and walking minimum of an eight hour shift.
•Exposed to outdoor weather conditions in all seasons, including variable temperatures and wet and/or humid conditions.
•Occasionally exposed to hazardous materials when responding to spills or suspicious
•Substance calls.
•Gaming environment – noise level may be moderate to high during busy times
•Weekends, Holidays and swing shift work may be required.
