Job Description:
Assists in the oversight and organization all the building and grounds Maintenance.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the Facilities staff and prepare work schedules.
- Train new staff in department policies and procedures and ensure compliance of staff.
- Ensure all New York State Regulations are being followed.
- Must have knowledge plumbing, electrical , HVAC, carpentry, spackle, tape, etc..
- Prepare work schedules.
- Maintain a safe work and guest environment.
- Preparation of daily and weekly reports.
- Assist with associate-counseling sessions, including all written, verbal corrective action and coaching.
- Assist with the preparation of associate evaluations.
- Assist with coordination and implementation of capital improvement projects within budget.
- Ensure that associates are trained and using PPE (personal protective equipment), adequately orders and stocks PPE as necessary for staff.
- Keeps work areas professional and free of safety hazards.
- Updates and maintains company records such as MSDS, safety records and maintenance logs.
- Must role model company guest service program.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Weekends, Holidays, and swing shifts may be required.
- Must be able to obtain a New York State Gaming License.
- Must be able to successfully pass background check.
- Must be able to successfully pass drug screening.
- Must be twenty-one (21) years of age.
Other:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Three to five years’ construction and building maintenance experience and or training required.
- Management experience required.
- Intermediate computer skills, e-mail, word, excel spreadsheets, routine data input and record keeping.
