Job Summary
Medical assistant to work with provider in assisting tasks as directed. Demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care to patients Maintains patient charts and logs and provides secretarial support as well in patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- EMR and/or Computer skills
- Acquire and document all medical information in patient chart Acquire Vitals
- Perform EKG's
- update patient records
- Perform Venipuncture
- Immunizations
- Prepare Lab samples
- Obtains all related reports, labs and information and files in patients' medical records
- Ensures that exam rooms are stocked with adequate medical supplies and clean, order.
- Directs or assists the patient to the ancillary department with paper work
- Checks expiration dates on all stored medications/immunizations/supplies on a weekly basis
- Prepare samples to sent to labs
- Qualifications and Skills
- Multitasking
- Computer Literate
- Phlebotomist and EKG
- MA certification preferred
- Experience in medical office

Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
