Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients and assemble sandwiches according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and process transactions efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food handling surfaces in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cashiering and balancing registers at the end of shifts.
• Assist with food industry tasks such as bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods.
• Follow all safety protocols related to food handling, sanitation, and equipment use to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, register balancing, and retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods.
