Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members during shifts to ensure efficient operations.
- Provide training and development for new hires and existing staff, focusing on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures.
- Assist in the interviewing process for new employees, helping to build a strong team.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations.
- Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or Shift Leader in a quick-service or fine dining restaurant is preferred.
- Strong background in food service management with knowledge of food handling practices.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and motivate staff effectively.
- Experience in coffee preparation or specialty beverage service is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
