Responsibilities
- Prepare fresh sandwiches, salads, and other menu items according to company standards and recipes
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to take orders and answer questions
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and food prep zones in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage food inventory levels, restock supplies, and assist with food handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Support team members by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and assisting with food delivery when needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in retail or grocery store environments is advantageous but not mandatory
