What are the responsibilities and job description for the Subway Team Member — No Experience Needed / Flexible Hours / Tips + Free Meals position at Subway - 24683-0?
We're hiring at Subway — and we're not going to waste your time with a long corporate job description.
Here's what you need to know:
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHAT YOU GET
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• Hourly pay 1.5x overtime when available
• Tips on top of your hourly rate (typically adds $1–$3/hr)
• Free meal every shift you work
• 401(k) with company match — yes, even for this role
• Flexible scheduling — we work around school, second jobs, and life
• Paid training from day one — no experience needed
• Promotion opportunities — we have 30 stores and we promote from within
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHAT YOU'LL DO
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You'll make sandwiches, greet customers, keep the store clean, and work the register. That's it. It's not complicated, but it does move fast — especially during lunch rush. If you can stay on your feet, keep a positive attitude, and follow a recipe, you'll do fine here.
We'll train you on everything. You don't need to know how to make a sandwich on day one. You just need to show up ready to learn.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHO THIS IS PERFECT FOR
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• Students who need a schedule that works around classes
• Parents who need hours while the kids are in school
• Anyone who needs a second job with flexible shifts
• People looking for their first job — we'll teach you everything
• Anyone who just wants a reliable, honest place to work
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
WHO THIS ISN'T FOR
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• You can't show up on time
• You don't want to be on your feet during your shift
• You think food service is "beneath you"
No judgment — it's just not the right fit.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
