What are the responsibilities and job description for the Subway Assistant Manager — The Step Before Store Manager position at Subway - 24683-0?
YOU ALREADY RUN THE SHIFT. LET'S MAKE IT OFFICIAL.
Some people close a store better than anyone gives them credit for. They just don't have the title yet.
If you're the one who handles the rush without being asked, counts the drawer without being told, and keeps the newer people from falling apart on a Friday night — this is the job that turns that into a career.
WHAT THIS ROLE IS
You're second in command. Your store manager runs the morning; you run the evening and you close. You lead the team that's on the floor with you. And on your manager's day off, the store is yours.
We place Assistant Managers in our busiest stores, because those are the ones that need a second leader.
WHAT YOU EARN
$11.00 per hour
38–40 hours per week
Paid every week — no waiting two weeks for your check
WHERE THIS GOES
This is the on-ramp to Store Manager. Our store managers earn $740 a week plus a quarterly bonus up to $1,100. We don't hire managers off the street when we have someone in-house who's ready. That's exactly what this role is for.
We're a family-owned company with more than 30 Subway locations, and we're opening more. Every new store needs a manager. We'd rather it be you.
FULL BENEFITS
Health insurance
401(k) with company match
Life insurance
One week of paid time off
Free meal every shift you work
Employee discounts
Paid training from day one
YOU DON'T NEED MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE
You need to have run a shift. Restaurant, retail, gas station, warehouse — anywhere somebody trusted you with the keys or the register. We'll teach you the rest: food cost, labor cost, ordering, scheduling, all of it.
WHO THIS ISN'T FOR
You want mornings. This is primarily an evening and closing role.
You want to supervise without doing the work. You'll be on the line making sandwiches.
You want the title now and the responsibility later.

Job type: Full time, 38–40 hours
