Duties
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of drilling equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency on site
- Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, backhoes and water trucks to support drilling and construction activities
- Support the installation and repair of water wells
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all operations, including working around heavy equipment
- Respond to service calls/problem solving
- Cannot be limited to light duty
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate or assist in operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, and water trucks
- Valid (clean)driver’s license, CDL a plus!
- Prior construction site experience is highly desirable; familiarity with water well drilling is a plus
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- English speaking required
- Electrical/plumbing/welding skills a plus
- Pay based on experience and ability
