Suburban Pets, the largest dog walking and pet sitting company in Long Island is currently hiring!
We are hiring reliable and caring dog walkers to join our growing team in the Plainview/Melville/Bethpage areas. If you love dogs, enjoy being outdoors, and want flexible work, this is a great opportunity!
Responsibilities:
*Walk dogs safely in local neighborhoods.
*Provide care for cats (feeding, scooping liter, playtime, etc.)
*Follow individualized care instructions for each pet (leash handling, behavior notes, health needs, etc.)
*Ensure pets have fresh water.
*Communicate updates to pet owners (photos/messages).
*Maintain punctual and reliable scheduling.
Requirements:
*Must have a smart phone, valid drivers license and dependable car.
*Must be comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and breeds.
*Prior experience with dogs is a plus!
*No allergies to cats
