We are looking for a driven Regional Sales Manager – East to lead growth efforts across the Eastern United States. This role is all about new business development, identifying, pursuing, and winning ideal customer accounts, while strengthening existing partnerships.
The right candidate will bring a hunter’s mindset, a proven ability to build and manage a strong pipeline, and the drive to convert opportunities into long-term partnerships. Responsibilities
- Drive new customer acquisition by targeting accounts that align with Suburban’s ideal customer profile.
- Actively prospect, source, and qualify leads, managing a healthy pipeline with strong close rates.
- Support divisional sales initiatives and contribute to national account growth.
- Manage existing business within the Python product line, working with OEMs and distributors to uncover opportunities.
- Develop tailored solutions by collaborating with product managers and engineers.
- Analyze markets, monitor competition, and refine sales strategies to stay ahead.
- Provide accurate reporting, forecasting, and CRM management.
- Represent Suburban at trade shows, industry events, and through proactive outreach.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of sales experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Proven track record of acquiring new customers and developing new markets
- Willingness to travel up to 25% annually
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Ambitious, competitive, and team-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling solutions to OEMs or distributors
- Familiarity with CRM tools and pipeline management
