Position Overview
The Cyber Security Analyst ensures that the SubCom NOC maintains IT systems and tools that are ISO 27001 compliant and secure from all outside vulnerabilities. The position reports to the NOC Director.
Responsibilities
- Ensure NOC Security and ISO 27001 guidelines are followed.
- Ensure NOC is ISO 27001 certified and maintains certification guidelines.
- Keep updated records of NOC Cyber Security Policies.
- Ensure NOC Cyber Security is well maintained, and the NOC is protected from all outside vulnerabilities.
- Review and remediate vulnerabilities detected by scans.
- Coordinate and schedule the IVA/EVA penetration tests with external service provider.
- Coordinate and conduct annual training with NOC personnel on the NOC Security Plan.
- Ensure training is given to all NOC personnel on implemented policies and keep Individual Training Records updated.
- Assist NOC Manager with internal and external audits to ensure policies are in compliance with ISO 27001.
- Ensure all Digital Certificates are kept current for all Cisco AnyConnect devices for the NOC VPN.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
- 5-7 years’ experience in a Cybersecurity position required.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting / problem solving skills in a Cyber Security environment required.
- Experience with ISO 27001 guidelines and compliance is desired.
- Experience with analysis and remediation of internal and external vulnerabilities required.
- The ability to work unsupervised required.
- Degree in Computer Science or Cybersecurity required.
- Experience with Cloud Computing required.
