POSITION SUMMARY

Subaru Superstore of Chandler is seeking a motivated, professional, and customer-focused Automotive Sales Professional to join our Sales team. This position is ideal for an individual who enjoys helping customers, building lasting relationships, and creating a positive vehicle-buying experience from the first interaction through delivery and follow-up.

As an Automotive Sales Professional, you will represent Subaru Superstore of Chandler and the Subaru brand while assisting customers with new and pre-owned vehicle selection, test drives, purchase options, delivery, and follow-up. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, knowledgeable, responsive, and committed to delivering an exceptional customer experience while achieving individual and dealership sales goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Greet customers promptly and create a professional, friendly, and welcoming dealership experience.

·       Consult with customers to understand their transportation needs, preferences, lifestyle, and budget and recommend appropriate new or pre-owned vehicles.

·       Maintain current knowledge of Subaru and pre-owned inventory, vehicle features, technology, trim levels, available options, and competitive advantages.

·       Conduct thorough vehicle presentations, demonstrations, and test drives while explaining key features, safety technology, and vehicle benefits.

·       Guide customers through the sales process from initial inquiry and vehicle selection through purchase, delivery, and post-sale follow-up.

·       Ensure customers understand vehicle features, technology, warranty information, and basic ownership resources at delivery.

·       Work closely with Sales Management and the Finance team to support accurate, efficient transactions and a seamless customer experience.

·       Respond promptly to internet, phone, and in-person leads and consistently follow up with prospective customers through approved phone, email, text, and CRM communication methods.

·       Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to support repeat business, referrals, and customer retention.

·       Accurately document customer contacts, appointments, follow-up activity, and sales progress in dealership CRM and related systems.

·       Stay informed of current Subaru programs, incentives, promotions, product updates, and dealership sales initiatives.

·       Meet or exceed established sales, appointment, follow-up, customer satisfaction, and other performance goals.

·       Complete required dealership and manufacturer training and participate in sales meetings, product training, and coaching sessions.

·       Maintain a professional appearance and represent Subaru Superstore of Chandler and RACCAR Automotive in a positive and professional manner.

·       Assist with maintaining showroom and vehicle displays and ensure inventory is clean, properly presented, and ready for customer demonstrations.

·       Follow all dealership policies, manufacturer standards, privacy requirements, and applicable sales procedures.

·       Coordinate customer vehicle deliveries, including final vehicle presentation and completion of required delivery steps.

·       Maintain a consistent prospecting and follow-up schedule to develop new sales opportunities and support dealership traffic goals.

·       Work Environment:

·       May work indoors or outdoors and be exposed to vehicle traffic, varying temperatures, noise, and typical automotive workplace conditions.

·    Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

 ·       Previous automotive sales experience is preferred; however, candidates with strong sales or customer service backgrounds may be considered.

·       Previous sales, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is strongly preferred.

·       Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

·       Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude with a commitment to follow-through.

·       Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented dealership environment and manage multiple customer interactions.

·       Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a performance-based sales environment.

·       Ability and willingness to learn Subaru products, vehicle technology, manufacturer programs, and dealership processes.

·       Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn and consistently use dealership CRM and sales systems.

·       Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.

Salary : $60,000 - $110,000
