Duties
- Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems.
- Perform repairs listed on repair order following shop policies and procedures.
- Safely perform test-drives on vehicles while using diagnostic tools and other equipment.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor if any additional service is needed.
- Provide a time estimate for any additional repairs.
- Basic shop cleaning and following compliance of safety rules set forth by the shop.
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read and comprehend oral and written English language. Bilingual is a plus
- Knowledge of basic automotive repair and maintenance
- Possess your own automotive tool set/tool box
- Must have reliable transportation daily
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a decent driving record (copy of MVR required)
Skills/Qualifications:
- Adequate knowledge of all makes/models. Subarus and performance parts is a plus.
- Ability to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively
- Effective diagnosis and communication skills
- Team environment
- Controls a well-organized and clean work environment
- Ability to learn new technology, procedures, and specifications
- Must be able to handle interruptions and multitask
Compensation:
- Hourly
