Automotive Specialists Inc. in Westminster is looking for an experienced A-Level or strong B-Level Automotive Technician who takes pride in diagnosing and repairing vehicles correctly the first time.
Whether you're looking for a 30-hour schedule over three days or a 40-hour schedule over four days, we'd like to talk. This could be an ideal opportunity for an experienced technician who wants more time for family, travel, hobbies, and life outside the shop—without giving up doing the work they enjoy.
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE — 3 OR 4 DAYS PER WEEK Our shop is open: Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM We're looking for the right technician, not just a specific schedule. Whether you're interested in approximately 30 hours over three days or 40 hours over four days, we're open to discussing a schedule that works well for both you and the shop. No Fridays. No Saturdays. No Sundays.
COMPENSATION $40–$55 per hour, depending on experience, diagnostic ability, certifications, and productivity. If you've spent 20, 25, or 30 years in the automotive industry, your experience has value here. We aren't looking for someone who wants to start over or prove themselves by working excessive hours.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Ideally, you are an experienced A-Level or strong B-Level technician who can work independently and doesn't need constant supervision.
You take pride in fixing vehicles correctly the first time and understand the value of quality workmanship.
Experience in several of the following areas would be valuable:
Automotive diagnostics Check-engine-light and drivability problems
Electrical diagnosis Brakes Steering and suspension
Heating and air conditioning
Engine mechanical repairs Cooling systems
Timing components
Alignment and chassis work
Diesel repair
Fleet and commercial vehicles
ASE certifications are preferred, but years of real-world experience and diagnostic ability are equally important to us.
You should have your own basic technician tools, a valid driver's license, and a good driving record.
