Quality Systems
- Development of Fabrication Control Plans.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on metrology tools and data analysis, leading measurement- and data-driven decision making efforts for the team (MeasurLink, Minitab).
- Lead problem identification, root cause analysis, corrective and preventative action efforts for internal-PPAP support
- Research, recommend, and implement new Metrology equipment that improves product quality, consistency, and performance
- Development, maintenance, and review of key quality indicators
- Lead PFMEA activities, facilitate creation of, organization of, and complete follow-ups as needed on new or existing production process PFMEAs
- Contribute to Model/Drawing Content Assessment for Fabricated Components providing expertise of GD&T, metrology, and fabrication processes to improve print quality
- Key control characteristics (KCC) identification, measurement plan development, analysis, and documentation.
- Establish the quality system requirements for new or revised products or manufacturing processes.
- Lead problem solving activities associated with new or present product quality issues.
- Assist Lead Quality Engineer in defining annual Quality goals and objectives.
- Report out to all levels of the organization up through the executive level.
- Previous experience with metrology software such as Polyworks, Metrologic X4, PC-DMIS, or similar
- Experience with advanced metrology tools such as bridge type CMMs, portable CMMs, laser tracker, vision systems
- Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) experience
- Experience with managing/leading direct reports
- Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Root Cause Analysis tools such as fishbone diagrams, 5-Why, Is/Is-Not
