Role Description
The Production Coordinator is a full-time hybrid role based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, with an edtablished company soecializing in outerwear & swimwear with the ability to work remotely on occasion. This role involves managing production schedules, coordinating with vendors and suppliers, monitoring project deadlines, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods and services. The Production Coordinator will also be responsible for facilitating communication between teams, ensuring alignment on project objectives, and maintaining organized records of production processes.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills for facilitating collaboration across multiple teams and stakeholders
- 2-5 years or more experience in production planning and production management to oversee timelines and resources
- Proficiency in project management and organizational skills to handle simultaneous tasks and meet deadlines
- Adaptability and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with supply chain operations or experience in the apparel industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proficiency in production management software and other related tools like
Excel, PLM, and/or SAP systems
- is preferred.
Experience with accounts such as TJX, Burlington, BJs and Costco is a plus
