Studio Z Design Concepts, an innovative and multiple award-winning Residential Architectural Firm located in Bethesda, Maryland, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be exposed to all facets of Residential Architecture, including design, client interaction, and construction site administration. Individuals should possess a Professional Degree in Architecture, be creative and think outside the box, have hand drawing skills, and be Auto Cad and Sketch Up proficient.
Responsibilities:
Manage and lead large-scale Residential projects from design to completion.
Understand and coordinate project plans and budgets and ensure that they are met.
Work closely with clients to understand their goals and expectations.
Coordinate consulting engineers, and contractors to ensure that projects are delivered per plans and specifications.
Review and approve consulting engineers, plans, and shop drawings.
Understand project documentation and facilitate strong communication with clients, contractors, and other consultants.
Conduct site visits to ensure that projects are being completed according to plan.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in architecture or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in architecture, with a focus on project management.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction and building codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software.
- Proficient in hand drawing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects.
- Creative design, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
