Studio Lafayette™ is a boutique, full-service creative studio specializing in building brands, traditional and digital marketing, event experiences, digital product development, and creative strategy. We employ a strategic funnel approach to client acquisition and retention, guiding potential clients from initial awareness through to long-term partnership. Our network-based service model creates multiple entry points for clients while building deep relationships and consistent revenue growth.
Studio Lafayette™ is seeking a mid level project manager who will support in the delivery of creative projects across the Studio Lafayette™ portfolio. This role focuses on working closely with cross-functional teams within design, marketing, product, and branding, as well as collaborating with stakeholders in other entities of Lafayette Square®, Studio’s parent company, to ensure project success, quality work, and timely delivery.
Job Summary:
- Support the Director of Operations in day-to-day tasks including scheduling meetings, taking notes, relaying feedback, creating timelines, quality checking design, and managing stakeholders.
- Own small-to-medium sized projects independently from inception to delivery with minimal oversight.
- Manage Studio finances, budgets, and invoices.
- Reports to: Director of Operations
Requirements:
- 4-5 years in a related or adjacent role with relevant knowledge, skills and experience.
- Strong organization, time management, team management, attention to detail, and communication skills
- Ability to efficiently work on multiple initiatives at the same time
- Willingness to take on new tasks, learn while doing, and accept and action on feedback when given
- Knowledge and experience in digital product design, marketing, and/or branding design processes and best practices including:
- All phases from concepting to detailed design to annotations to prepping for production-ready handoff
- Feedback processes, stakeholder management
- Experience working with budget tracking, finances, and legal contracts
- Experience working in event planning and management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptive and flexible, and prioritize tasks for yourself and the team
Tools & Platform Experience:
- Microsoft’s suite of products, including Office (specifically PowerPoint, Excel, and Word), Teams, and Outlook
- Project management tools such as Asana, Notion, etc
- Figma’s suite of products, including Figma, Figjam, and Figma Slides
- Finance tools such as Ramp, Clockify, Quickbooks
- Marketing and event tools such as Cvent and Hubspot are a plus
Other Considerations:
- This role is fully remote, however candidate must be open to east-coast travel 2-4 times a year for company events and offsites (all travel expenses will be covered)
- Role will be required to execute and support the marketing/events team with on-site logistics and tasks
- Studio Lafayette™ generally works east coast hours, however we try not to schedule meetings before 7:00am PST if you’re on the west coast
Salary & Benefits:
- $100-120k
- Role will be contract to start, full-time status will be evaluated after 6-12 months
