Position Overview:
The CAD Drafter will assist in producing high-quality construction drawings and documentation for residential projects. This role offers a hybrid work structure with a combination of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility.
Schedule:
- In Office (Required):
- Mondays: 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM
- Thursdays: 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM
- Remote: Remaining hours
- Hours: Flexible, with full-time hours available
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise residential construction drawings using CAD software
- Assist in developing floor plans, elevations, and details
- Coordinate redlines and updates from the architect
- Maintain organized project files and drawing sets
- Ensure accuracy and consistency across all documentation
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD required)
- Knowledge of Sketchup a plus
- Experience in residential architecture preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate in-office
