- Monday–Thursday: 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:15 AM – 11:30 AM
Company Description:
Studio Allegro School of Ballet is dedicated to nurturing students in the art of dance, offering training for those pursuing professional careers, college-level programs, or personal enjoyment in ballet. The school provides a creative movement program that combines stories, music, and imagination to create an engaging learning environment for young dancers. Operating on a 38-week academic schedule from September to June, the program culminates in a student concert. Additional Summer Intensives are held in July and August to further enrich the training experience.
Position Overview:
Studio Allegro is seeking a friendly, organized, and reliable Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our studio. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families and children in a fast-paced, creative environment and can help keep daily operations running smoothly during peak class hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors in a warm and professional manner
- Manage front desk operations during class hours
- Answer phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
- Assist with student check-in and attendance tracking
- Support registration and account questions using the studio management system
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby area
- Communicate important studio information to families as needed
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and light data entry
- Support studio events, performances, and special programs as needed
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software systems
- Reliable and punctual
- Friendly, positive, and professional demeanor
- Experience in administrative or customer-facing roles preferred
- Interest in dance or arts education is a plus, but not required
Schedule & Commitment:
- Position runs September through June (aligned with the academic year)
- Potential opportunity for additional hours during summer programs
