What are the responsibilities and job description for the Loan Origination Specialist (2 Positions Available) position at Student Choice?
The Loan Originations Specialist will act as the loan processor/primary point of contact for our member borrowers, and ensure accuracy of certification and disbursement requests.
- Reviews borrower documents, identify any additional documents needed
- Manages borrower communications, proactively working following up on any outstanding items
- Identifies applications in need of dedicated support, and assists with coordinating resources for member needs.
Skills: Requires excellent attention to detail, verbal communication, and people skills.
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED, Associate’s Degree/Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Student lending, financial aid, consumer lending or credit union experience strongly preferred.
