As a Consumer Real Estate Loan Specialist with Frost, you are our processor. In this role, you will be responsible for processing approved consumer real estate loan files using discretion and independent decision making. You will use your investigate skills and observant mindset to review loan files for accuracy and complete documentation to ensure we are following all applicable policies and regulations. As a Consumer Real Estate Loan Specialist with Frost, you are our processor. What You’ll Do
- Order title search, title commitment, and flood certificate from specified vendors to document files
- Collect and organize credit and collateral file documents
- Respond to telephone calls and emails regarding loan status
- Review and analyze file documentation to identify potential issues
- Address and resolve issues with originating and or closing bankers and title companies in order to ensure the perfection of our lien position
- Coordinate loan closing with originator, banker, customer, broker, and or escrow officers and title companies
- Prepare closing instructions and other related loan closing documents
- Offer instruction and guidance to originators and bankers through phone and email regarding general product, policy and legal concerns
- Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve
- 2 years of banking experience
- Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills
- 2 years of real estate processing and/or real estate loan documentation experience
- Real estate title work experience
- Knowledge of legal documents related to Consumer Real Estate
