We are seeking a dependable, skilled Property Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position supports residential apartments, storage facilities, and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have strong plumbing experience along with a broad background in general property maintenance and repairs.
Primary Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair plumbing issues, including leaks, faucets, toilets, drains, water lines, and fixtures.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
- Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, and appliance issues.
- Assist with unit turns and property improvements.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas.
- Communicate effectively with residents, tenants, vendors, and management.
- Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of maintenance or related trade experience preferred.
- Demonstrated plumbing repair and troubleshooting experience required.
- Working knowledge of residential and commercial maintenance practices.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to diagnose problems and determine practical solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, bending, and working in various weather conditions.
