What are the responsibilities and job description for the Crawlspace Technician position at Veritas Facility Services & Construction?

Crawlspace IQ is the first company to certify and care for crawlspaces as they should be, and we are growing fast. We work with some of the largest home builders in the country to ensure the quality and cleanliness of crawlspaces all over the Treasure Valley.

What You Will Do:
As a Crawl Tech at CIQ, you will be part of a team performing scheduled crawlspace inspections, moisture assessments, and final certifications on new construction and existing homes. Your job is to hold the CIQ standard through every visit, every home. Some of your specific job duties would include:
- Perform multi-visit crawlspace inspections on new construction and existing homes
- Assess moisture levels, vapor barriers, and overall crawlspace condition
- Document findings accurately using the CIQ standard
- Identify and report any conditions that require escalation
- Work as part of a team, communicating clearly and operating as a unit
- Update job records in our scheduling system before end of shift
What We Are Looking For:
We don't require crawlspace experience; we do require someone who has experience working hard and is reliable. Some job requirements would include:
- Someone who takes pride in doing the job correctly, not just getting it done
- Reliable and on time so our builders and homeowners can count on us
- Comfortable working in confined spaces such as crawlspaces, attics, tight areas
- Physically able to crawl, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check
- Strong communicator
