What are the responsibilities and job description for the Estate Planning & Probate Paralegal position at Stuart Green Law?
Our Firm
Stuart Green Law is an intentionally small, boutique law firm focused on pushing the envelope of modern estate planning.
Our practice focuses on wealthy families and individuals who value privacy, asset protection, control, family governance, and wealth management.
We accept a limited number of engagements each year so the work can be done properly. That same philosophy applies to how we build our team.
Our firm is looking for a paralegal that is the correct fit for our firm, its culture, and its mission. We care about attitude. The right individual is confident in their abilities, comfortable asking for help, and willing to contribute their best creative work and ideas to make the firm stronger and to serve our clients well.
How We Work
We are intentionally small. You will work side-by-side with the founding attorney working on the cutting edge of modern estate planning. Few firms focus on this work, and we strive to do it better than anyone else.
We take the work seriously. We also believe a healthy team leaves room for personality, humor, and perspective. Human creativity is part of doing this work well. We want a paralegal who is intellectually curious.
The firm is growing and there are clear pathways to personal and professional growth alongside the firm.

We designed this role to use the full scope of your knowledge, skills, and experience as a paralegal. You will be client facing and representing our firm. You will be on the consultation calls when we first meet clients, and you will be the main person driving the drafting process. The ability to sequence work, monitor deadlines, and complete drafting tasks on time is critical.
Ideal Candidate
This is an active role. We want a team player who stewards their work like they own the firm. We strive for excellence in everything we do. If you want to be part of a healthy organization that wants to be excellent, this might be the right spot for you.
Our firm is based in Houston, Texas, so the right candidate will have experience with Clio, WealthCounsel, and Texas probate. Other skills:
- Drafting Wills, Trusts, and ancillary documents
- Experience with forming Limited Liability Companies and Limited Partnerships
- Drafting business entity documents
- CRM
