Stuart Cearley Law Group is seeking an experienced, organized, and dependable Paralegal to join our Bentonville office. The ideal candidate will provide strong support to our attorneys, communicate professionally with clients, and help move cases forward efficiently. Experience in family and criminal law is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and organize pleadings, correspondence, discovery, and other legal documents under attorney supervision.
- File documents electronically and maintain accurate case files.
- Track court dates, deadlines, appointments, and case progress.
- Communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and other parties as directed.
- Assist with discovery requests, document collection, and review.
- Prepare exhibits, hearing materials, and trial notebooks.
- Assist attorneys with legal research and case preparation.
- Record billable time accurately and promptly.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism and compassion.
- Coordinate with attorneys and office staff to keep cases organized and tasks completed on time.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of paralegal experience.
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures, document preparation, and electronic filing.
- Family and criminal law experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, prioritize assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Paralegal certificate or related education preferred.
