Position SummaryThe Senior Quality Engineer will play a critical role in overseeing inspection processes, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring every product meets or exceeds customer expectations. This role requires a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for process optimization.
Responsibilities- Lead inspection and testing of production parts and services
- Ensure compliance with customer, industry, and regulatory standards (AS9100D)
- Prepare and manage inspection documentation for conformance and shipment
- Organize inspection workflows to meet delivery deadlines
- Train and guide inspection personnel on tools, gauges, and methodologies
- Track and validate inspection checkpoints throughout production
- Contain and evaluate non-conforming products; lead customer reviews for deviations
- Support root-cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions
- Develop and execute annual continuous improvement goals
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or quality management
- 5 years of manufacturing quality experience with leadership responsibilities
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Familiarity with AS9100D and ISO 9001 standards
- Proficiency in inspection tools, statistical analysis, and quality software
- Certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt, or Lead Auditor preferred
- Detail-oriented mindset with a drive for process optimization
