Position Summary
The Flight Watch Coordinator monitors daily flight operations and ensures all travel accommodations for crew members are reconfirmed and updated in real time. This role serves as the communication hub between Scheduling, Travel, Hotel Services, and Operations teams to minimize disruptions and ensure seamless logistics support for flight crews.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily flight activity and proactively manage crew logistics
- Book, confirm, and reconfirm hotel accommodations and ground transportation based on the rolling flight schedule
- Implement immediate corrective actions if transportation fails or flights are delayed
- Communicate changes to affected departments, airport stations, and hotel vendors
- Serve as liaison between the Manager on Duty (MOD), Crew Scheduling, Travel, and Hotel teams
- Handle a high volume of phone and email communications with professionalism
- Maintain up-to-date records and ensure all changes are logged accurately
- Provide top-tier customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Operate effectively within a 24-hour environment, including weekends and holidays
- College degree preferred
- Background in hospitality, logistics, or customer service highly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with computers and standard office software
- Positive, professional, and approachable demeanor
