HOME every night

What You’ll Do

• Safely operate an 18-speed manual transmission tractor with flatbed trailer
• Transport structural steel assemblies to job sites and customers
• Complete vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Utilize Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and maintain accurate logs
• Load and unload materials using forklifts
• Maintain accurate load lists and shipping paperwork
• Make frequent runs to Pennsylvania and surrounding areas
• Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and well maintained
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations

What We’re Looking For

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid Class A CDL required
• Minimum 3 years tractor trailer driving experience OR 200,000 miles equivalent experience
• No more than one moving violation within the last 3 years
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Strong understanding of DOT and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
• Excellent driving and equipment handling skills
• Self-motivated, reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Successful background check

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted
• Frequent bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling
• Operate powered industrial vehicles and forklifts
• Work indoors and outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Maintain strong visual awareness including depth perception and clarity
• Exposure to noise, dust, odors, weather, and heavy equipment
