What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Account Manager position at STS Security & Event Management, L.L.C.?
Growing company is seeking an experienced Security Account Manager. Must have Five years of verifiable Event Security experience, three of those years should be in a Supervisory role. We will also strongly consider candidates with a Law Enforcement background.
The candidate can expect to work near full-time hours, mostly weekday, day shifts. Weekend and evening availability will be required as the needs of the business will occasionally dictate those hours being worked
Responsibilities and Duties
Direct supervision of Security Officers at multiple corporate security sites.
Meet with clients and building managers to determine their security needs and concerns.
Create and distribute security post orders and educate on-site Security Officers on those post orders and their responsibilities.
Coordinate incident response when necessary.
Liaise with local public safety departments.
Scheduling of Security Officers for all applicable sites.
Use of portable radios.
Conflict resolution.
Reviewing and approving incidents reports, patrol logs and other written records.
Employee timekeeping.
Additional duties as needed pertaining to site management and coordination.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have Five years of verifiable experience, three of those years should be in a Supervisory role. We will also strongly consider candidates with a Law Enforcement background. NYS Security License must be up to date. Reliable transportation and a "clean look" is required. Good working knowledge of computers and associated technology.
