As a fully integrated member of the team at Brown Pacific, the Maintenance Lead will have the opportunity to work closely with all members of our operations including maintenance, operations, production, and quality within a fast-paced aerospace company.
The position is classified as Full-Time, Non-Exempt.
- Assist Engineering, Operations and/or Maintenance Managers with R&D and improvement projects.
- Work sourcing outside contractors, obtaining bids, scheduling work, and assisting with projects.
- Must lead by example and delegate work that is assigned to the department.
- Must work with all maintenance personnel as a mentor for all aspects of the job.
- Must show the highest level of leadership in all aspects of the job.
- Will assist Management with departmental training, confined space, lockout tagout, etc.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to eliminate down time and ensure production goals.
- Ability to assess mechanical/electrical repairs and perform repairs to get equipment back in service with minimal down-time, with limited supervision.
- Must have basic skills using power/hand tools.
- Forklift operation
- Knowledge of PLC’s, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Prefer previous experience troubleshooting systems.
- Industrial furnace, boiler, and water treatment experience (BP) or Mill/Forge (SA/SSP/TSI) experience a plus.
- Ability to follow directions and work as a team or individual.
- Comply with OSHA safety rules.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Continued Education in the field of current work.
- Industrial electrical experience.
- Good, dependable attendance with ability to work overtime on short notice.
- 3-5 years of experience performing mechanical maintenance activities.
- Minimum 5 years of experience performing electrical maintenance activities.
- Experience installing industrial equipment a plus.
- Must be able to work safely around industrial equipment.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
- Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
