What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Structured Solutions, LLC?
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties as directed by the supervisor or foreman.
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople and equipment operators as needed.
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and properly.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, sweeping, and general housekeeping.
- Set up and break down work areas, materials, and equipment.
- Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or job-site hazards.
- Follow verbal and written instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous construction, industrial, landscaping, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, push, and pull as required.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to assigned work locations.
- Ability to follow instructions and work safely around tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Willingness to work overtime or varying schedules when required.
Safety Expectations
The Laborer is responsible for following all SSL safety policies and job-site requirements. Employees must use required personal protective equipment, attend safety meetings, and immediately report hazards, incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
Pay: $17.00 - $27.00 per hour
