What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Armcorp Construction, Inc.?
PREVAILING WAGE RATE OPPORTUNITY with 90% of work on Federal/State projects.
We are looking for a Construction Laborer to join our team. You'll work alongside both our general construction and commercial electrical crews, giving you the opportunity to gain experience across multiple trades and build valuable skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and some experience in multiple areas of construction, including carpentry. As a Skilled Laborer, you will be responsible for providing hands-on work under the direction of the Site Superintendent. Must be willing to travel as this will be required at times. However, our goal is for travel to be within a 2 hour radius of Dayton.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Perform various construction tasks as needed
- Assist in the installation of drywall, ceilings, flooring, and painting
- Operate hand and power tools as necessary
- Follow safety regulations and protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Maintain quality workmanship built per industry standards and contract documents
- Maintain all company equipment and tools at all times
- Attend weekly safety "Tool Box Talks" meeting
- Travel to various job sites as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
