Assistant Project Manager
Structure Tone Southwest is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our statewide construction projects, with additional responsibilities as a subject matter expert (SME) for project technology. Our work includes a mix of ground-up construction and interior build-outs. This role offers exposure to a range of responsibilities that contribute to the overall success of our projects. While the key duties are outlined below, additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. Assistant Project Manager
Structure Tone Southwest is currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support our statewide construction projects, with additional responsibilities as a subject matter expert (SME) for project technology. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to senior leadership, including conducting project audits
- Train new hires on project-related technologies and tools
- Coordinate with architectural, engineering, and other professional teams
- Assist with scheduling subcontractor manpower and material deliveries
- Review and process submittals and RFIs (Requests for Information)
- Participate in cost control efforts and budget tracking
- Manage document control processes and track changes to contract documents
- Perform quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) inspections of installed materials
- Assist in punch list development and preparation of project close-out documentation
- Collaborate with the team on safety management initiatives
- Maintain organized records and documentation with a strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction (e.g., Construction Clerk, Project Engineer)
- Data Center experience highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with CMiC is a plus
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
