SSRG is looking for a Regional Business Development Director who takes pride in building strong relationships, identifying meaningful opportunities, and representing our work with integrity. In this role, you’ll lead market outreach for SSRG Florida, primarily across North Florida, while supporting strategic growth initiatives throughout the Southeast. You’ll connect our capabilities to the right partners and projects, shaping pursuit strategies and fostering long-term relationships in a collaborative environment where safety, reliability, and quality guide every decision.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety
- Represent the company’s safety culture and expectations in all external interactions.
- Ensure all outreach and relationship-building reflect our commitment to safe, reliable performance across every job site.
- Follow all OSHA, EPA, ODH, company, and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all company travel and safety protocols when visiting markets, projects, or events.
Quality
- Understand SSRG’s capabilities, services, and strategic goals—and tailor outreach to align with each division’s strengths.
- Collaborate with internal teams to share market insights, partnership needs, and upcoming scopes.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of relationships and opportunities in Dynamics.
- Represent the company professionally and consistently at events, pursuit meetings, and client engagements.
Production
- Execute the strategic market plan to meet growth targets for SSRG FL and the broader Southeast region.
- Build and prioritize key relationships with owners, GC/CM clients, design partners, and manufacturers.
- Evaluate opportunities for fit, margin potential, capacity, and market readiness before launching internal pursuit efforts.
- Engage actively in industry organizations, networking events, and associations to identify and cultivate opportunities.
- Stay informed on market trends to guide long-term strategy and sustainable growth.
- Leverage opportunities across all Huseman Group companies—seeking ways to collaborate and strengthen the whole.
- Participate in weekly business development and Go/No-Go meetings.
- Lead post-pursuit debriefs to capture lessons learned from both wins and losses.
- Travel as needed to build relationships, support pursuits, and connect with market teams.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 7–10 years of experience in structural repair remediation preferred.
- Proven success in business development or client relationship management, ideally within the construction or professional services industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Dynamics is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative spirit and a passion for creating long-term partnerships.
