Job Purpose
The Construction Warehouse Manager oversees the efficient operation of the warehouse, ensuring timely delivery, secure storage, and accurate inventory of materials and equipment for construction projects. This role is critical to support field teams, maintaining compliance, and optimizing supply chain workflows
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Inventory Management
Track incoming and outgoing materials, tools, and equipment across multiple job sites
Maintain accurate digital and physical inventory records using warehouse management systems
2. Logistics & Distribution
Coordinate deliveries, pickups, and transfers between warehouse and job sites
Schedule and supervise drivers, ensuring timely and safe transportation
3. Warehouse Operations
Organize warehouse layout for efficient access and safety
Implement systems for labeling, storage, and retrieval of construction materials
4. Compliance & Documentation
Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to OSHA and company safety protocols
Maintain records for audits, inspections, and insurance purposes
5. Team Leadership
Supervise warehouse staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management
Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and field crews to anticipate material needs
6. Process Improvement
Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions for inventory control, delivery scheduling, and space utilization
Support digital transformation efforts (e.g., barcode systems, mobile inventory apps)
Working Conditions
1. Based in warehouse with regular coordination across job sites

Requirements
1. Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
2. Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
3. Valid drivers' license.
4. Ability to operate forklift effectively.
5. Proficient computer skills.
6. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Outstanding leadership, organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
8. Strong people skills.
9. Available to work extended hours.
10. 3 years of warehouse or logistics experience in construction or industrial settings
11. Proficiency in inventory software and basic Excel or spreadsheet tools
12. Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment
13. Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills
14. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety standard
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am through 3:30 pm, 40 hours per week or as required. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or technical degree preferred)
- At least three years of warehouse or logistics experience in construction or industrial settings.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to obtain security clearance or access passes for federal job sites.
