Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately assemble sub components
- Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking & framing with precision and safety in mind
- Construct frame carpentry, dormers, & gable ends
- Operate woodworking machines safely to cut, shape, and assemble materials
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while assembling large components
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace; adhere strictly to power tool safety procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned when needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction blueprint reading, carpentry (residential or commercial), or woodworking industries
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans for accurate assembly
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, framing equipment, and woodworking machines
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically capable of handling large components throughout assembly processes
- Excellent attention to detail combined with strong teamwork skills; reliable adherence to safety standards and project timelines
