Lead Production Supervisor (Monday - Thursday, 10 hours per day)

What We’re Looking For:

The Lead Production Supervisor will assist with the optimization of processes in a Lean manufacturing environment. They will be responsible for managing staff, achieving KPIs and maintaining safety.

• You keep safety a top priority and make sure your team understands and follows proper procedures and techniques.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Understand shop KPI’s and motivate the team to beat the target and hold yourself accountable for the results.
• Oversee all steps of production from start to finish including press brakes, fiber lasers, punch presses, robots, welding, painting, packaging, and shipping.
• Innovative ideas and process improvements. We expect one idea per person per week.
• Focus on building products.
• Manage safety of all employees and machine usage.
• Executing the Production Plan set by Manager.

Requirements:

• 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment directing/organizing people and product flow.
• A strong understanding of material flow and automated lines and how to manage them.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
• Understanding and direct manufacturing experience in quality control, welding, and painting (wet or powder coat)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Flexible. Work environment is a non-temperature regulated facility with moderate to loud noise levels.
• Read and interpret standard production drawings.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications.
