Personal Lines Insurance Agent - Trainee

As a trainee Agent you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing support, answering inquiries, processing policy changes, and assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks. No prior insurance experience is required—just a willingness to learn, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others.

To be successful, you should have a welcoming personality, as this is key component of a customer service role. You should be able to deal with customer requests in a timely and effective manner. Multitasking and time management skills are essential for this position. Ultimately, primary duties and responsibilities are to ensure our Agency welcomes guests positively, and executes all related tasks to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and professional customer service via phone, email, and in-person
• Assist clients with policy questions, billing inquiries, and coverage information
• Process policy updates, endorsements, cancellations, and renewals
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation
• Support agents with administrative tasks
• Learn and follow all compliance guidelines and agency procedures
• Work closely with the team to ensure clients receive exceptional service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using computers, CRM systems, and general office software
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Insurance experience or a P&C license is not required—training provided
