Strive Health Services, LLC is a family owned and operated homecare agency. With a focus in Private Duty Nursing and in-home Therapy services, Strive employs Registered Nurses and Licensed Vocational Nurses to work one on one with patients of all ages and medical needs. As a growing small business, we are currently hiring to fill a full time Administrative Assistant position to support the clinical operations of our agency.
The Administrative Assistant functions as a supportive role to the operations of the agency. The ideal candidate for this position is an individual with an interest in healthcare, customer service and operations in a medical office setting. The Administrative Assistant manages the clerical aspects of patient management by participating in the care coordination process, physician order entry and tracking, authorizations, and many other key areas important to the overall performance of the agency. This position requires someone who is accountable, process driven and detail oriented. Performance based promotion opportunities are available in alignment with team member readiness and company growth.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Director of Nursing with clinical process management
- Maintain patient medical records
- Transcribe and track Physician orders
- Support patient Admission and Discharge process
- Submit for and track Patient Authorizations
- Participate in Referral process
- Support patient Care Coordination
- Coordinate and schedule RN Supervisory patient visits
- Ensure compliance with Strive policy and Licensing regulations
- Manage inventory of patient supplies and distribution
- Participate in Caregiver New Hire Orientations as needed
- Answer and direct calls
- May cross train in employee Personnel Record management and hiring process as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Customer Service experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Must successfully pass background and reference checks
