Strittmatter Companies is a leader in site development, excavation, and trucking services across the DC Metropolitan region. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Vac Truck Driver to join our growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a Vac Truck safely and efficiently on construction and excavation job sites
- Perform site clean-ups, debris removal, and excavation support using vacuum systems
- Transport and properly dispose of collected materials in compliance with company and environmental regulations
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on assigned truck and equipment
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, site supervisors, and team members
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience operating Vac Trucks or similar heavy equipment preferred
- Knowledge of DOT and safety regulations
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and on active construction sites
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and time management
- Must be reliable, team-oriented, and able to work overtime or weekends as needed
