Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead our HVAC crew on commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will oversee installations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC systems while ensuring quality, safety, and project deadlines are met.
Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure alignment with project plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Inspect work quality and adherence to blueprints, specifications, and codes.
- Manage tools, equipment, and material inventories.
- Train and mentor team members on proper techniques and safety protocols.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and report progress to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Mechanical license preferred.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, or machinery).
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, blueprints, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, trade-specific).
