Food Service Associate

We are looking for a dependable and energetic Food Service Team Member to join our food truck team.

This position is primarily responsible for preparing and assembling customer orders, including tacos, burgers, nachos, and other menu items. Most major food items will already be cooked, so this role focuses heavily on assembling orders, portioning ingredients, maintaining food quality, and getting orders out quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and portion guidelines
• Package and organize customer orders accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized food preparation area
• Restock ingredients, condiments, packaging, and other supplies as needed
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the food truck
• Help maintain cleanliness of equipment, work surfaces, and service areas
• Work efficiently during busy service periods
• Communicate and work well with other team members
• Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with customers
• Perform other food service duties as needed during events

We are looking for someone who is reliable, works well in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in preparing quality food.

Previous food service or restaurant experience is helpful but not required. Training will be provided.

Applicants should be comfortable standing for extended periods, working in a food truck environment, following instructions, and working as part of a team.

Schedule

This is a part-time, event-based position. Hours may vary depending on scheduled events and food truck operations. Evening and weekend availability may be required.

This position is a good fit for someone looking for flexible part-time work and experience in food service, events, or hospitality.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 16.0 per week
